Whipped Cream

Components

Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup cooled whipping cream
  • 1 Tablespoon. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Little pinch of kosher salt

Macerated Berries

  • 1 pound. blackberries and/or blueberries, cut in half, quartered if big
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Little pinch of kosher salt

Preparation

  • Utilizing the biggest (and largest) blend you have, beat cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a big cooled bowl up until soft peaks form, 3 – 6 minutes, depending upon the number of breaks you take.

  • Do Ahead: Whipped cream can be made 2 hours ahead. Cover and chill. Right before serving, blend cream one or two times to refluff, however do not overwhip it.
